Help Hope and Her Puppies!

As most of you might recall last month I found a stray dog who led me to a mother dog and her 7 puppies. I brought them into animal control and named the male dog Hero. The wondeful folks at the Kankakee County Humane Foundation took in Hero, the mother who they named Hope, and all 7 puppies after their hold time was up. Unfortunately today Hope was rushed the the vet and had to have emergency surgery for Pyometra. On top of that she tested positive for parvo and has to stay at the vet for treatment and monitoring. To make things even worse the puppies then had to be taken to the U of I where they all are being kept in Intensive Care with 24/7 monitoring and treatment as well. These poor babies are still not even 8 weeks old. The estimate given for the puppies alone is between $14,000 to $28,000. Yes, you read that correctly. Please help out my friends at the Kankakee Humane Foundation, they are amazing people who will do whatever it takes to save a life, no matter the cost. Although the goal is high, any amount you can give is valuable to saving these dogs, and very much appreciated! Thank you!
