<div>My heart is shattered as I write these words. My husband, <strong>Victor Javier de la Presilla Cervantes</strong>, was taken from us far too soon after bravely battling stage 4 cancer.

<div>Victor was so much more than just my husband — he was my best friend, my safe place, and the love of my life. He was also an amazing father, son, cousin, nephew, and friend. Everyone who knew him knows how loving, funny, and caring he was. He had a way of making people laugh, of making everyone feel seen and loved.

<div>Losing him has left an emptiness that words can't describe. Our children have lost the best dad in the world, and I have lost the person I thought I would grow old with.

<div>Víctor fue mucho más que solo mi esposo — fue mi mejor amigo, mi refugio y el amor de mi vida. También fue un padre increíble, hijo, primo, sobrino y amigo. Todos los que lo conocieron saben lo cariñoso, gracioso y bondadoso que era. Tenía una forma especial de hacer reír a la gente y de hacer que todos se sintieran vistos y amados.
