My mom, Patricia Muro, was the most beautiful and genuine soul I’ve ever known. She was an overachiever who always saw the best in everyone, no matter their circumstances. Patricia’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved shopping, trying new places to eat, and had a real sweet tooth for candy. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, and she always put others before herself.

Earlier this year, Patricia was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer that attached to her lungs, kidney, and stomach. The illness caused her bones to become fragile, leading to fractured ribs and even moving her heart out of place. Despite her strength and determination, her health declined rapidly. On Monday the 4th, she passed away after months of fighting. Our family is heartbroken, and we’re now facing the difficult task of arranging her funeral and saying goodbye.
