My name is Sterline, and I am reaching out during the most difficult time of my life. My mother recently passed away suddenly in Haiti, leaving my five-year-old niece without her only guardian. My mother was a single parent and an incredible soul who always put her family first. She was the heart of our family, and her loss has left a deep void in our lives.

Right now, my niece is alone, and the situation in Haiti is even more dire due to ongoing war and flooding. I am her only daughter, and I want nothing more than to honor my mother by bringing her back to her hometown so she can be buried with her parents, my grandparents. The cost of the funeral and transportation is more than I can afford, and I am heartbroken at the thought of not being able to say goodbye or give her the peaceful rest she deserves.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering the funeral expenses and supporting my niece as I work to adopt her and bring her to the United States. Your support will help me honor my mother’s memory and give my niece the care and future she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and my family. Thank you for your kindness and support during this incredibly hard time.
