<div>Hi everyone. My name is Ashlyn Strain and I am so heartbroken to announce that my mother Selena Strain has passed at the age of 48 on Christmas. For those that don’t know, my mother went missing Christmas and was recently found deceased in a nearby river. She is leaving behind me and my autistic brother, my Grandma, Aunt, and 2 beautiful little nieces.

<div>This was not the way me or my family expected to celebrate Christmas. I want to thank everyone again for the love and support with trying to help find my mom. I have to ask again for everyone’s help. I need assistance with planning my mom’s service, caring for my younger brother, and taking care of the remaining expenses left behind by my mom.

<div>This GoFundMe has been made to honor my beautiful mama and support me and my family while we try to navigate this new and unfortunate reality. Every donation helps us move forward and takes away a lot of financial stress in this trying time as well as showing how loved she was. If you are unable to give financially, sharing this page helps so much, as well as well wishes and any positive words. Anything and everything helps.

<div>Thank you so so much for showing how much my mom was loved and keeping her memory alive. You are helping us honor her beautiful soul and show us we are not alone.
