On 09/03/2025, my world was turned upside down. My mom, Christine Riley, was found in her neighbors backyard, gone far too soon and without warning. Her passing was sudden, unexpected, and heartbreaking for everyone who knew and loved her. Her cause of death hasn’t been determined its still being investigated she was alone and ended up deceased in the neighbors backyard 

4 am of the night my mom was mid 50s she loved her grand baby and her kids 

she enjoyed spending time with us any time she could, especially the time she got with my sisters kid she loved babysitting and always offered she was on a good road in life she had her ups and downs but stayed at church and read her Bible she was all about change please help us get these funds for her a cremation

My mom was the kind of person who, no matter what life threw at her, tried to keep going with strength and love. Always made sure to provide for her kids. To lose her this way has left our family shocked, grieving, and trying to make sense of it all. My mother wouldn't do this to herself. She was just on the phone with me that night saying she cant wait to see me she missed me so much. she called me again later that night. freaking out saying someone stole her medication could my aunt give her a ride to get her meds if she dont find them. My last text to her was “Are you ok “, “momma keep your doors locked “ something in me told me somethings off So i called asked her are you ok she said shes fine she figured it out shell call me tomorrow she loves me goodnight then i wake up to a phone call from my dad saying the police found her a couple hundred feet from her backyard, 4th down neighbors house from her duplex. All while im 14 hours away from her. She had signs of Asphyxiation is (loss of oxygen) because of marks on her neck with signs of struggle scratches from running through thorn bushes or some type of flee she was in her underpants and a tshirt she was laying with her arms flat in front of her like she was struggling to get away no cause of death had been given autopsies are being conducted as of 09/04/2025

Because this loss was so sudden, we were not prepared for the costs of her cremation and final arrangements. All I want is to give her the dignity she deserves, to lay her to rest with love and respect, and to gather her family and friends in her memory.
