Honoring the Life and Legacy of Kendra Wright

It’s with a shattered heart that I share the unexpected loss of my mother, Kendra Wright, who passed away suddenly on May 17th at just 36 years old. Her passing has left a void in our lives that words can’t begin to describe. She was more than just a mother—she was our light, our laughter, our heart.

Kendra was a devoted mother, sister, and aunt, loved by all who knew her. She leaves behind her two children: David (19) and Lakendra (8), along with siblings, nieces, and nephews who are deeply mourning her loss.

Our Immediate Need

Due to the sudden nature of Kendra’s passing, we are facing urgent and unexpected financial burdens. We are raising $7,000 to cover the following:

$4,000 for her viewing and cremation

$2,000 to support Lakendra and David with temporary living and household expenses

$1,000 for moving and securing personal belongings

We have less than two weeks to make arrangements, and we need your help to honor her the way she deserves.

Who Kendra Was

Kendra was full of life—always dancing, laughing, and bringing people together. She loved her children fiercely, and they were her world. She found joy in caring for her nieces and nephews, spending time with her sister, and simply being with family. Her laughter filled the room, and her absence is felt in every corner of our lives.

If you knew her, you know how much love she gave to everyone around her.
