<div>It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news that on November 7, 2025, Jacob Thompson went to be with the Lord. His whole life, he endured more pain than anyone could imagine. It started when he was an infant and continued until the end. He loved aquatics, teaching, scientific research, and helping anyone who had a question. His life goal was to educate people, and he achieved it. He will be remembered as the "Fish Encyclopedia" and a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.
