<div>On August 19, 2026, <strong>our family experienced an unimaginable loss</strong> when <strong>David Anthony DeJesus</strong>, was tragically struck by a vehicle while riding his e-scooter and did not survive his injuries. David was only 23 years old and had so much life ahead of him. He was a gentle, innocent soul who was just beginning to find his way in life. That day, he had left home to go to the bank and run a few errands, and he was especially excited because he was preparing to attend Comic Con, something that meant so much to him. He wore his helmet and tried to be safe, but heartbreakingly, he never made it home.
