Help Honduras fight Covid 19

Honduras is a lush and beautiful country, located in Central America; it is also one of the poorest in the region.  The Covid 19 pandemic has created a health and humanitarian crisis of epic proportions, and quite simply it is not equipped to manage it. 

 

We are a group of friends, both Honduran and American, who have come together to raise funds and awareness, to help alleviate the situation.  The lack of government funds and major shortages of medical supplies and personal protective equipment make the situation all the direr.   With your support, however small, we will buy necessary supplies and deliver them personally, through the right channels, to the hospitals that are desperately lacking.

 

This is a medical and human crisis unlike anything we have faced before and we need to raise awareness and appeal to caring hearts to help our country during this exceptionally difficult time of need.

 

We hope you can join our initiative and help us help Honduras; every dollar raised will make a difference and we will keep transparent records of how it is spent, keeping the purchases public and up-to-date.

$10 = 50 facemasks

$ 20 = one whole medical outfit for doctors and nurses:  Gown, medical shoes, gloves, mask, hat and face shield.

$ 50 = oxygen tank for Covid 19 patient

$ 100 = 2 oxygen tanks

$ 500 = hospital bed or tent

$ 1,000 = 2 hospital beds or tents

$ 5,000 = ventilator

$ 10,000 = 2 ventilators
