• 120 books shipped to Shakopee Prison on 12/14/25
• 80 books shipped to Rush City Prison on 12/24/25
And the requests keep coming.
• Moose Lake Prison (MN) has requested 75 books
• Hernando Correctional Institution (FL) has requested 30 books
• Prison Book Project has requested an entire pallet of books (2,500 books) for nationwide distribution
Prison Book Project alone ships an average of 250,000 books per year to over 3,000 facilities across the country. When they receive pallets, they are able to send more copies of a title to more locations, helping reach men and women who may otherwise receive nothing at all.
Each book costs about $10 to donate.
This tells us two important things:

This project is trusted and wanted.
Every book donated is not sitting in storage. It is being requested, shipped, read, and shared. Books wear out. People cycle in and out. New facilities are added every year. The need never stops.
