Hobo Santa: Bringing Christmas to the Unsheltered for the 5th Year!

In 2020, as the world grappled with the challenges of a global pandemic, I found myself homeless and in need of hope. Thanks to the overwhelming support of my social media family, not only did I receive help, but together, we raised thousands of dollars to spread Christmas cheer to individuals living on the streets and in encampments across Florida. That incredible experience sparked a mission that continues to grow stronger each year.

Today, Hobo Santa is celebrating five amazing years of bringing Christmas joy to the unsheltered, and this year is our most exciting yet! My son Conor and I are thrilled to announce that we’ve started a nonprofit called Safe Ground Sanford, dedicated to providing stable housing and employment opportunities for those in need. While we're still finalizing the paperwork, our mission to uplift our community is well underway.

This year, Hobo Santa is proud to partner with The Umbrella Brigade, a local organization whose toy drive ensures children have something special to unwrap on Christmas morning. Together, we’re sharing proceeds to maximize the impact of holiday joy – for adults and children alike.
