Help Hobarts hidden angel

We all need a helping hand sometimes, but most of us won’t ask for it. A Hobart single mother of 4 - a foster mum, a volunteer with youths at risk, a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation volunteer, a volunteer domestic violence counsellor - has suffered a horrific, life changing, personal tragedy. She has volunteered her time to help so many in our community especially our native animals and now it’s our turn to help her, and her family, in their time of need. We need to come together to help her get back on her feet and keep doing all the good things she has done for Tasmanians and our wildlife. Donations will assist with things such as the completion of wildlife rehabilitation enclosures which she is unable to finish due to her lengthy recovery, a home security system to ensure the safety of her family moving forward, required immediate emergency accommodation and other associated costs.

Just one more way we can help close the gaps for abuse victims when the system lets them down.
