Help Hilda travel & care for her parents

Hilda Peters is a wonderful nurse who has given so much to her patients over many years. Hilda would dearly love to get back to Namibia to visit and care for her mum who is facing increasingly debilitating health challenges. Hilda's father is also extremely unwell, having been admitted to hospital with severe cellulitis & septicemia in his feet & legs on 17 July 2013 due to complications from diabetes.


Our family got to know Hilda over the 4 weeks that our daughter Lily spent in the care of the amazing nurses in the Special Care Nursery at North Shore Private Hospital. Hilda was particularly excellent and made us feel relaxed, supported and optimistic about Lily's future (she was born 6 weeks premature and is now doing very well). I decided to kick off this page for Hilda as she has given so much to so many people, I thought it was time she received some help.

Hilda needs our help to cover airfares, rent on her home in Sydney (where she lives with her 2 children) and living expenses in Namibia. She hopes to arrive before her mum's birthday on 10 November and to stay at least until Christmas, longer if funds permit.
