<div>On July 1st, moving the last of the boxes into my new apartment I aggravated degenerative disc disease in my lower back.  I’ve had intense sciatic and low back pain ever since. We’re now heading into week four and everyday things like standing and walking are nearly impossible.

<div>As a bartender and esthetician,  I am required to be on my feet. Working is completely off the table, there’s still no clear timeline for when that might change.
</div>

</div>
<div>I’m incredibly lucky that my parents are able to help cover my August rent and a few other necessities (bless them), beyond that, i’m out of options. I’ve already applied for food and utility assistance, but I don’t qualify for unemployment or any disability .
</div>
