<div>Woensdag 3 december werd het warmste nest van Zichem nét iets te warm… Het dak ging in vlammen op en de 35 jaren aan herinneringen verdwenen mee in de rook.

<div>Gelukkig bleef iedereen ongedeerd. Maar het  gezin van tante Sonja en nonkel Gert staat nu onverwacht zonder hun vertrouwde plek vol sfeer en liefde.

<div>En dat raakt keihard, want dat huis was niet zomaar een huis. Het was voor velen een thuis waar altijd ruimte was voor een extra stoel aan tafel, een luisterend oor of een warme knuffel. Een plek waar iedereen zich welkom voelde en de deur wagenwijd open stond (en het dak nu ook). Een plek waar, hopelijk, de temperatuur voortaan ook iets beter onder controle blijft.

<div>Nu willen wij als vrienden en familie iets terugdoen voor dit warme gezin. Met elke bijdrage helpen we mee om het typische Cluyts-huishouden weer op te bouwen, groot en klein. Zo denken we aan de iconische chocopotten die er uit de deur vliegen, nieuwe (kerst)pullen voor de koude wintermaanden en nieuwe outfits, zodat het na die nieuwjaarsduik niet té koud gaat blijven.
