<div>Het Nederlands Centrum voor Autohistorische Documentatie heeft een nieuwe locatie gevonden! In de zomer 2026 verhuizen wij van de Automotive Campus naar een pand 700 meter verderop aan de Steenovenweg in Helmond. We blijven dus dicht in de buurt!

<div>We zamelen geld in om onze collectie zo goed mogelijk naar het nieuwe adres over te brengen en ononderbroken beschikbaar te houden voor autoliefhebbers, journalisten en onderzoekers. De Stichting NCAD is een culturele instelling (ANBI) die draait op vrijwilligers en is afhankelijk van donateurs.

<div>We vragen een eenmalige donatie als bijdrage in de verhuiskosten. We hebben straks meer ruimte en dus ook meer stellingkasten nodig. Daarnaast willen we een betere ontvangstruimte voor bezoekers inrichten en goede werkplekken realiseren voor onze vrijwilligers.

<div>Het in 1997 opgerichte NCAD bewaart, beheert en ontsluit een unieke

<div>collectie documentatie op het gebied van de auto en mobiliteit om ervoor te zorgen dat de kennis over het mobiel erfgoed behouden blijft. De documenten zijn ook zelf belangrijk erfgoed dat beschermd wordt door het NCAD. We hebben op dit moment meer dan 150.000 (pers)foto's, 60.000 brochures, 20.000 tijdschriften en 5.000 boeken in de collectie. Het is een flinke klus om dat alles te verhuizen. En het ziet ernaar uit dat we binnenkort nog een paar grote collecties kunnen toevoegen aan onze verzameling!
