Help Herman Lee and Family

Donation protected
Our beloved friend and Shaw co-worker Herman Lee is very ill and currently in heart failure at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. Herman has been in the hospital for the past 6 months undergoing various procedures under the Heart Failure and Transplant team's care. Because of a tumor found on his bladder, he also recently had to have his bladder removed.

Herman has recently taken a turn for the worse and is unable to eat or process food on his own and requires a feeding tube. For his body to withstand a heart transplant, he needs to be able to take in more calories and if not, was given a timeframe of approximately 6 months to live. We are praying that he can start building back up his strength so he can undergo a heart transplant and begin recovery and rehab.

This is and will be a long and difficult road for his wife Michelle, and young children Ethan and Ella and we are asking for your support financially to help somewhat relieve the extensive burden of costs involved with his treatment. While Herman remains in the hospital, Michelle must continue to work full time in order to keep the family afloat all while caring for their 2 children and dog Cooper. Any support you can provide with your time (helping with chores, visiting Herman in the hospital, cooking meals, dog sitting, etc.) would also be immensely appreciated.

Herman, Michelle, Ethan, Ella, and Cooper currently live in the Burke Mountain area of Coquitlam. Herman and Michelle are both long tenured Shaw employees and we know how compassionate Shaw employees can be when supporting their fellow co-workers. Please help if you can!
