Her Last Wish

Donation protected
Imagine being extremely ill, going to the doctor and not being able to get a diagnosis. Imagine this repeating several times until hearing that your test results are "nothing that has been seen before."

What would your next step be?

As sad as the thought may be, this was the reality for my mom's dear friend Nkechi.

Living in Nigeria, her next thought was to call my mom here in Seattle, WA for advice. Always willing to help, travel arrangements were swiftly made for Nkechi to come to the states in order to see specialists who may be able to provide what she had been waiting for- a diagnosis. To at least know what was causing her illness and what she could do to get better.

After multiple tests and scans, she finally recieved an answer. Nkechi has terminal cancer. It started in her breasts and has now spread to several parts of her body, including her brain.

Needless to say, she is in pain and being away from her family only makes the emotional pain worse. Her last wish is to get home to her family before it is too late. She has 3 children. The youngest is 8 years old and they all just want to see their mom again.

Please assist in any way that you can. No amount is too small. Time is of the essence and even if you do not have to give, a simple share may make the world of a difference.

Proceeds will go toward airfare back to Nigeria (my mom will have to accompany her), and her medical bills.

Thank you.
