Help Helen Fauser

On August 4th Helen age 93, was admitted to the hospital with a UTI, pneumonia and sepsis. She was then sent to a rehab facility on August 9th for therapy to grow stronger before coming back home to live with me. Since then she has suffered a foot injury, a broken arm and several skin tears. She is scheduled for foot surgery to mend her foot on October 16th. The problem is that Medicare will not pay for her to stay in the facility and wants to discharge her on October 14th. She needs $5,500 by October 13th to stay in the rehab until October 31st so that she can heal from the surgery and mend the broken arm (caused by the rehab). Otherwise she will be sent to a nursing home and forced to receive Medicaid. I can not care for her at home as she cannot walk and cannot grab a lift with her broken arm. Please help her get the therapy she needs so that she can resume her happy ever-after life in our home. She is a beautiful person inside and out and is very healthy in all other respects. Helen was an amazing mother and her motto through life has always been "fun,fun,fun".  Please help keep her out of the nursing home. She deserves so much better. Thank you for visiting our site.
