<div>Heidi Pepon is a beloved friend, avid reader, moviegoer, and passionate traveler. She cherishes time with her family and friends and, before her diagnosis, found joy in staying active and working out.

<div>In May 2023, Heidi received the devastating news that she had stage 4 colon cancer, which eventually spread to her liver. She began chemotherapy in July 2023, facing each round with resilience and strength. Throughout therapy, she was told her tumor could not be removed. But after 38 rounds of chemo and a reevaluation of her treatment, hope has been restored as her medical team now believes surgery may be possible.

<div>Despite the challenges of the past two years, Heidi has continued to show up for friends, family, and her colleagues at Pine Pharmaceuticals while undergoing treatment. Now, as she prepares for the next step in her fight, we ask our community to show up for her. This fundraiser will help cover the cost of her life-saving surgery and provide support for expenses while she takes time off to recover.
