Mike, an incredible, kind man, is fighting for his life after several cardiac arrests in July. In the middle of the night, in the pitch black of a power-out in their neighborhood, his love and partner, Heather, performed CPR until the paramedics arrived. Heather has been by his side in the hospital since, while everyone hopes that Mike will regain consciousness and recover.
This waking nightmare is happening to the most wonderful people. Their home, which they live in with Heather’s two wonderful sons, is a rental. Mike pays half the rent, and since he is obviously unable to work, and Heather is currently only able to handle a small amount of part-time work, we fear that they won’t be in any position to manage their bills. There are also all of the other things, like the hospital charging a small fortune in parking fees, making sure Heather has her data plan so she can keep in contact with people and a myriad of other small expenses that quickly add up.
Heather is one of the most giving and supportive friends that a person could ever have. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. We want to support her by removing the financial burden. That’s the very last stress that this beautiful little family needs.
