Help + Heal our Beloved Malabika Goldar

Our beloved Fashion Design teacher and friend Malabika was struck with a shock in late 2018: Stage 4 breast cancer. Not missing a beat, she immediately sought out treatment and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Moving Arts Española is asking our community and family to help raise funds to cover part of Malabika's out-of-pocket costs for medical expenses like her anti-nausea medications and frequent doctor visits, as well as to cover lost wages for time off work.
Throughout these early stages of her treatment, Malabika has maintained such grace and a ferociously positive attitude. She even told us, "I have cancer, I am NOT cancer."
Together, we can help relieve some of the financial burden such a diagnosis can incur, and help our dear teacher––who has touched the lives of so many of our students and families––focus on what's important: Healing.
We'll continue to update this fundraiser as Malabika's healing journey moves forward.
