Meet Hassan and Ahmed

“My house in southern Gaza was bombed and the house was full of people.This bombing led to the death of 30 people from my family, including my wife, children, daughters and the rest of my family.

The survivors of this massacre were me and Ahmed, my son, a 9-year-old child. I want you to stand with me, stand by my side to complete the treatment of my son and rebuild my house. It has become a mass of rubble and we have no shelter. 

This is our situation. Only me and my son are left alive. My baby son suffered burns and critical wounds, and I am also injured.

Building Ahmed’s future and building my house, and because my wife died, I want to get married so that she can take care of Ahmed, and I want to continue treating my son because he wants plastic surgery in the future.”

Please help Hassan and his young son Ahmed. After crossing the Rafah-Egypt border injured, the two were transferred to a hospital in Qatar to receive medical assistance. Ideally, the two would like to return to Palestine and rebuild their home. Currently though, they have been in Qatar and are still in need of a safe and stable place to take shelter. They have experienced an absolutely unimaginable nightmare, yet they remain hopeful and resilient, ready to continue their lives.
