Help Ha’s Family with Medical Expenses

Hi, we are Bong & Tam, and we are raising money to help our brother Ha pay his medical bills after he was randomly attacked by two pit bulls while out on his morning walk. 

It happened on August 26, and it was so horrible that it was covered by the local news. He needed a blood transfusion on the scene and had to be transported by Life Flight helicopter to a trauma center. His injuries are unfortunately extensive. 

His family is still trying to process what happened, and we are doing everything we can to help them. We all know there is a long road ahead. Ha has made his home in Houston for the past 31 years with his wife and children. He is retired now, but he still likes to wake up early to take a walk around his neighborhood. This attack was totally unprovoked, and the doctors tell us he could have died if it weren’t for the quick actions of his neighbors and the immediate medical care of the first responders. We are so grateful to them!

All donations will go directly to Ha’s wife, Trang, and their children to pay for his medical bills. He has insurance, but his treatments have already been so intensive that his family is under financial as well as emotional strain. We are incredibly thankful for anything you can do to help our brother and his family make it through this nightmare. He is alive now because of the kindness of strangers, and we hope that he can continue his recovery with your support.
