Help Harvey May

Donation protected
Harvey May  was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when he was 28 years old.Until the age of 43 . Harvey was able to lead a fairly normal life.At this point the doctors decided that dialysis was necessary and the treatments went on for seven and a half years. The treatments were given at the rate of three times weekly four hours at a time.At around the six and a half year point into the dialysis treatments while he was waiting for a kidney transplant the doctors informed Harvey that his right big toe was infected and that he had to be taken off of the waiting list for the transplant. This happened two times .Once taken off the list you lose your spot and get pushed back to the end of the line.In desperate need of the kidney transplant Harvey s body began breaking down.Once the toe was cut off and the infection gone Harvey s wife Brigitte who had been tested as a suitable donor for a kidney decided to accelerate matters by donating a kidney to her husband. The transplant was succesfull.A month later Harvey got shingles in his eyes resulting in partial loss of sight.A short time later infection set in again and more toes had to be removed.Within months a section of Harvey s foot was cut off in hopes of stopping the infection from spreading. After consulting with his doctors his right leg was amputated below the knee.Harvey was then sent to re hab , a prosthetic leg was fitted and the futur seemed brighter.Roughly eight months later a black dot on the bottom of his left foot got his wife s attention.Back to the doctor only to be told infection had set in and the big  toe on his left foot had to be cut off. A few months later the infection spread to the remaining toes ,then the foot and the left leg had to be amputated below the knee.During  the surgery to remove his leg Harvey suffered a heart attack.Stems had to be be inserted .While rehabing from the second amputation Harvey noticed a black dot on one of his fingers on his right hand. The doctor examined him but the finger was left as is for eight months until it had to be cut off.Infection then spread to the finger next to the one that was removed and it also had to be removed.Within the next month or so Harvey is expected to lose yet another finger on his right hand.In the last few months Harvey s house burned down and has been declared a total loss. How much suffering can a person endure? lets please help restore this man s quality of life as best we can. However small individual contributions are made they will be greatly appreciated.I think we can agree that this story is pretty unique in terms of how much physical pain a person has gone through not to mention that the mental pain is also off the scale in how hard the last fourteen years have been.Thanlk you for taking the time to reas this and again any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
