Help Harvest Point Farms

Harvest Point Farms is a family business and provides fresh produce for Alaska. They have been open for 4 years now as full time farmers.  You have seen them at Natural Pantry, South Anchorage Farmers market, and maybe even enjoyed a meal with their produce at the captain cook. 

Between the original earthquake and the one that hit this morning, it weakened the foundation of one of their most important greenhouses at the Point Mackenzie farm. The 4.4 earthquake shook it so hard that it completely took out one third of the greenhouse and it collapsed entirely. It took out the portion of greenhouse that  houses heated beds which provides the going season with a jump start for them. The trusses all collapsed in and the greenhouse is now full of snow as well. It collapsed on thousands of dollars worth of lights and plumbing and all of the packaging house materials were being stored in the greenhouse as well while packaging house was being remodeled.  

Harvest Point Farms will appreciate any donation you can get them right now while they try to re-coop and get this fixed in time for all of their customers!
