Help Harry Train at N.Y.City Ballet

Donation protected
15-year-old Harry Peterson has been accepted to the prestigious School of American Ballet’s summer program.
The privilege of training at S.A.B. is rare. Out of 2,000 students auditioning every year, less than 200 are invited for to attend this five-week summer course. Only the most naturally balletic and dedicated earn these few, coveted spots.
Harry has been training in ballet since he was three years old, never veering from his path to be a premier dancer, withstanding relentless teasing from peers as well as some of their parents, he has steadfastly held onto his dream.  He attends ballet classes 6 days per week, goes to the gym 3 times per week, has Pilates class one day a week, a personal trainer one day per week and stretches a minimum of 2 hours per day as well as taking private ballet instruction.  His dedication to the art form is more than admirable and he manages his high school curriculum as well via a charter school/in-home program.
For generations, S.A.B. has been the single greatest cultivator of aspiring American ballet dancers. Only a handful of artistic institutions around the world command as much reverence as the school. Created by the great ballet master George Balanchine in New York City in 1934, over 90 percent of the New York City Ballet's current dancers are S.A.B. alumni.
Those who make the cut land in good company, as the past and present virtuosos who have passed through the school's studios are truly an embarrassment of riches and include Eddie Villella, Arthur Miller, Damian Woetzel and Ethan Stiefel, to name just a few.
S.A.B. is in a league entirely of its own and Harry is honored and grateful to have been accepted into the program, thanks a decade of training from his instructors at California Dance Arts in La Canada, CA, Director Aerin Holt and Lynn Bryson Pittenger (soloist at NYCB under Balanchine himself) as well as two years of training with Inna Bayer, DIrector of Bayer Ballet Company in Mountain View, CA.
Even with a scholarship totaling 1450, (half of the tuition), the remaining tuition is 1,450, with additional fees of 260, room and board is 3,025 (includes 20 meals per week) as well as plane tickets and at least one overnight stay prior to checking in.
Any help offsetting these costs will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
