Dear Family & Friends,
As most of you already know, Harry Bruneau, Jr., "Handsome Harry" has been battling cancer for more that 4 years. His struggle has been heroic to say the least. Harry has stage IV pancreatic cancer which has produced numerous tumors throughout his body. He has run the course of chemotherapy; and, at this point, is hoping to qualify for any sort of cancer study.
Numerous surgeries, hospitalizations, doctor visits, & medications have caused medical bills to mount daily. Because of the debilitating nature of his illness, Harry has been unable to successfully manage and run his business -- just another cause of worry for Harry; his wife, JoAnn; and grandson, Anthony.
Harry Bruneau, Jr. is a "larger than life" presence in all of our lives. His love of life & all those around him knows no bounds. As a husband, he is beyond compare. To his grandson Anthony, who he has cherished and raised since birth, his guidance has been invaluable. To most of us, he is our knight in shining armour -- always coming to our rescue for some reason or another. To others, he is "Big Poppy" , Little League coach. Harry is the life of any party and a master of making life exciting & happy.
However, now he has reached a crossroad filled with difficulty and pain without weakness or complaint. Those of us close to him know it's time to offer him a hand to hold. Mind you, not a handout but a true expression of kindness, comfort, and love.
Many have asked what they can do during this trying time. Your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes are of enormous value. In addition, any donation that you are able to make to help alleviate some of the stress associated with the added financial burden of medical costs and ordinary living expenses would go a long way in granting Harry some peace of mind. Be generous with your heart and whatever you do will be greatly appreciated.
