Help Us Bring the Next Two Episodes of Good Judys to Life!
My name is Marcus London Hall, and I’m the creator, writer, and executive producer of Good Judys, a web series that celebrates Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ experiences in Harlem with humor, heart, and unapologetic truth.
Since launching, our pilot episode—filmed right here in Harlem—has traveled across the country, gaining recognition on the film festival circuit, winning multiple awards, and racking up over 50,000 views and 4,500 subscribers on YouTube in just three weeks. The response has been incredible, but the reality is: passion alone doesn’t pay production costs.
We’ve written the next seven episodes, but we are going to take baby steps and seek to produce the next two. In order to film them, we need to raise $15,000. Every dollar will go directly to supporting our local cast, crew, locations, equipment, and post-production—keeping the magic of Good Judys rooted in the Harlem community that inspired it.
This show isn’t just entertainment—it’s representation. It’s a chance for us to control our narratives, showcase our city, and spotlight the joy, messiness, and resilience of friendships that rarely get seen on screen.
If you’ve laughed, cried, or saw yourself in Good Judys, help us continue the story. Donate what you can, share this campaign, and let’s keep making TV that reflects who we really are.
Thank you for your support,
Marcus London Hall
Creator & Executive Producer of Good Judys
