My name is Will Cable, and I am a student at Hampton High School in Hampton, Tennessee. Our school recently experienced devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, which has severely impacted our programs and students. As the vice president of both our SkillsUSA and TSA clubs, I’m reaching out to ask for your support.
Unfortunately, our school’s CAD program was completely destroyed in the flood, including all our competition laptops, tools, awards, and virtually everything in the classroom. We were also in the middle of preparing for Battle of the Builds, but now all of our materials and work for that competition have been lost.
Hampton High School has a long history of success in SkillsUSA and TSA. Since 2016, we’ve had at least three state champions every year, and our students have gone on to compete at the national level with pride and determination. However, this year, we are facing an uncertain future. We are worried that without support, we won’t be able to send our team to the state leadership conference—or worse, to the National Leadership Conference, where we have traditionally excelled.
That’s why we are asking for donations to help us rebuild our program. Your contributions will help us replace the equipment and materials we’ve lost, ensuring that our students have the resources they need to continue competing, learning, and growing.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated. We are grateful for any support you can provide, and we remain hopeful that, with your help, we can continue to build on our legacy of excellence and provide future opportunities for our students.
Thank you for your time, generosity, and support.
