<div>Three and a half years ago, Hallie was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She was 27 years old at the time of diagnosis.

<div>Initially, Hallie endured major surgery, along with multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. A little over a year later, the cancer recurred; she went through another surgery, but less than six months later, the cancer was back again.
</div>

<div>While Hallie continues to use holistic and complimentary therapies as well as standard of care chemo, the cancer therapies that are currently approved in the US are insufficient to put Hallie in full remission. The immunotherapy she needs is available, but her health insurance will not pay for this yet-to-be-approved treatment. Because no US health insurance company will cover Hallie’s treatment, we have no choice but to pay for it ourselves. The total cost of this treatment will be a staggering $200,000 to $250,000.
