<div>My name is Hala Taher Al-Sarsawi from Palestine. I live in Gaza. I cannot bear what my family and I are going through. Everything is destroyed, and I don't know if it's still possible to think about my dreams, ambitions, goals, or my school that I love so much. The war has destroyed everything, even my studies. I did everything to reach my dreams and goals, but I feel like I am no longer interested in my studies, dreams, or future because every member of my family is thinking about safety and escaping the genocide that Israel is committing against the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, and how to get out of this miserable life.

<div>The last few months have been full of fear, terror, and displacement. It was a nightmare for us that destroyed my hope for life and reaching my dreams, and it destroyed my home and my father's simple job. I never imagined in my life that I would reach this painful reality.

<div>We love our country; we love our life, but the beautiful forms of life have disappeI used to gather with my family under one roof in a house full of love, happiness, warmth, and beautiful stories, where every member of my family was striving to achieve their dreams, which were the first steps towards our future. Day by day, we waited for my older sister to reach the stage of high school graduation, our first joy and happiness.

<div>But the dream faded away. Everything was destroyed at the beginning of October 7th. We had to leave our home, taking only a few clothes because we couldn't carry much on our backs. We fled under the random, insane bombardment. My father and mother did not hesitate to support us psychologically to help us escape from this nightmare.On top of all this, I suffer from weak eyesight and was supposed to travel to Egypt for an eye surgery to see without glasses, but the war came, and I couldn't leave. I have four siblings. The eldest was supposed to start high school and begin the journey she had dreamed of since she was young, to become a doctor and treat patients.

<div>I have a younger brother who is 12 years old and dreamed of becoming a football player. He was great at playing, always winning, and had joined a football team, but he couldn't continue because of the war. My youngest brother, who is 9 years old, dreamed of becoming a basketball player, and my father got him into a team, but he couldn't continue due to the occupation.I also remind you of my little sister, who is 2 and a half years old and has not lived her childhood like other children in the world. My father had prepared a beautiful, elegant room for her with toys, but she didn't enjoy her childhood for long because of the war. We couldn't take any of her toys with us, hoping to return one day.

<div>We must also highlight our parents, who have done so much for us and dreamed of seeing my sister and me as memorizers of the Quran. I have memorized 22 parts, and my sister has memorized 23 parts, but we couldn't complete it because of the war.

<div>.اسمي هالة طاهر السرساوي من فلسطين. أنا أعيش في غزة. لا أستطيع تحمل ما نمر به أنا وعائلتي. لقد تحطم كل شيء، ولا أعرف إذا كان لا يزال من الممكن أن أفكر في أحلامي أو طموحاتي أو أهدافي أو مدرستي التي أحبها كثيرًا. لقد دمرت الحرب كل شيء، حتى دراستي. لقد بذلت كل ما في وسعي للوصول إلى أحلامي وأهدافي، لكني أشعر أنني لم أعد مهتمة بدراستي أو أحلامي أو مستقبلي، لأن كل فرد في عائلتي يفكر في الأمان والهروب من الإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها إسرائيل بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، وخاصة في غزة، وكيفية الخروج من هذه الحياة البائسة.  لقد كانت الأشهر القليلة الماضية مليئة بالخوف والإرهاب والنزوح. لقد كان كابوسًا بالنسبة لنا، دمر أملي في الحياة والوصول إلى أحلامي، ودمر منزلي وعمل والدي البسيط. ولم أتخيل في حياتي أني سأصل إلى هذا الواقع المؤلم.  نحن نحب بلدنا. نحن نحب حياتنا ولكن اختفت أشكال الحياة الجميلة كنت أجتمع مع عائلتي تحت سقف واحد في منزل مليء بالحب والسعادة والدفء والقصص الجميلة، حيث كان كل فرد من أفراد عائلتي يسعى جاهداً لتحقيق أحلامه والتي كانت الخطوات الأولى نحو مستقبلنا. يوما بعد يوم، كنا ننتظر وصول أختي الكبرى إلى مرحلة التخرج من الثانوية العامة، أول فرحة وسعادتنا.  لكن الحلم تلاشى. تم تدمير كل شيء في بداية 7 أكتوبر. واضطررنا إلى مغادرة منزلنا، ولم نأخذ سوى القليل من الملابس لأننا لم نتمكن من حمل الكثير على ظهورنا. هربنا تحت القصف العشوائي والمجنون. ولم يتردد والدي وأمي في دعمنا نفسياً لمساعدتنا على الهروب من هذا الكابوس. وفوق كل هذا أعاني من ضعف البصر وكان من المفترض أن أسافر إلى مصر لإجراء عملية جراحية لأرى بدون نظارات، لكن جاءت الحرب ولم أستطع المغادرة. لدي أربعة أشقاء. كان من المفترض أن تبدأ الكبرى دراستها الثانوية وتبدأ الرحلة التي حلمت بها منذ صغرها، أن تصبح طبيبة وتعالج المرضى.  لدي أخ أصغر يبلغ من العمر 12 عامًا ويحلم بأن يصبح لاعب كرة قدم. كان رائعًا في اللعب، وكان يفوز دائمًا، وانضم إلى فريق كرة قدم، لكنه لم يتمكن من الاستمرار بسبب الحرب. أخي الأصغر، عمره 9 سنوات، كان يحلم بأن يصبح لاعب كرة سلة، وقد أدخله والدي إلى فريق، لكنه لم يتمكن من الاستمرار بسبب الاحتلال. وأذكركم أيضًا بأختي الصغيرة التي تبلغ من العمر عامين ونصف ولم تعش طفولتها كباقي أطفال العالم. لقد جهز لها والدي غرفة جميلة وأنيقة مليئة بالألعاب، لكنها لم تستمتع بطفولتها لفترة طويلة بسبب الحرب. لم نتمكن من أخذ أي من ألعابها معنا، على أمل العودة يومًا ما.  ويجب علينا أيضًا أن نسلط الضوء على والدينا الذين فعلوا الكثير من أجلنا وكانوا يحلمون برؤيتي وأختي حفظة للقرآن. لقد حفظت 22 جزءاً، وأختي حفظت 23 جزءاً، لكننا لم نتمكن من إكماله بسبب الحرب.  في النهاية، أريد أن أقول إنه بدعمكم ومحبتكم، يمكننا تحقيق أحلامي وأحلام إخوتي ووالدي، يداً بيد. يرجى التبرع لمساعدتي في إنهاء هذه المعاناة. باركك الله بكم
