<div>Hi, my name is Chloe and I live in the US in Nebraska, and I have been communicating with my friend Hala since May, 2024. She previously had a campaign being run by her brother in Germany, while he is trying to obtain citizenship. Recently, because of his citizenship status, they have had issues getting Hala the funds from her campaign. Because of this, Hala has asked me to start her a new campaign so she is able to easily receive funds for her family’s survival. This is her story:

</div>

<div>My name is Hala, I am 30 years old, a mother of five young children. My husband, Abdullah, and our children and I endure unimaginable hardship, living in a small tent in the harsh Gaza heat. Deprived of clean water, food and adequate shelter, our basic human needs are not being met. The deteriorating situation here has made us vulnerable to diseases that are widespread within the camp. Severe malnutrition has affected my family, causing significant weight loss, and we find ourselves unable to rebuild our lives or even live normally.

<div>My five children are suffering physically and psychologically. Muhammad suffers from Lymph glandlymphadenitis. He had burns on his feet due to the war. Noah, who was born during displacement in displacement camps, has never known safety and is suffering from a crisis due to a lack of medicine. The atrocities they witnessed have left my children severely traumatized, waking up at night screaming in fear.

<div><br />

</div><img class="text-editor_textEditorImage__43_GE" alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/84665779_1733613555909707_r." width="100%" />

<div>Ahmed, once a beacon of joy and energy, is now gravely ill from contaminated water. Talin, my precious daughter, deserves a chance at a normal life.

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After these months of naval and land strikes and under aerial bombardment, it seemed that there was no hope for the war to end.We want to leave these difficult circumstances. All I want is to save my family, especially my children, and get out of Gaza. Unfortunately, evacuating Gaza is not easy as I mentioned before, but this will only be possible through your generosity, support and assistance.

</div>

<div>So please help us get out of this cruel war.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have lost my home for the second time. In the 2014 war, my home was completely destroyed. Now, in this war, I have lost my home again. We didn't even have the chance to make many memories in it. The home was our sanctuary, a place to build our dreams and raise our children. It was our refuge amidst the chaos, a symbol of hope and safety.

</div>

<div>Losing it for the second time means losing a part of our soul. Every corner of that home held a piece of our lives, the laughter of our children, our nightly conversations, and our hope for a better tomorrow. We struggled to live a dignified life amidst all these hardships, but losing our home again weighs heavily on us, making us feel as if the ground is being pulled from under our feet.

</div>

<div>Our home was not just walls and a roof; it was a part of our identity, of the dreams we tried to realize amidst the destruction. Losing it again means starting from scratch in a world that shows no mercy.

<div>2023

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>All we ask for is a chance to rebuild our lives, for the sake of our children who deserve to grow up in a safe place, without fear of the present and without harsh memories tainting their innocence.

</div>

<div>My husband ran his own business, which was our only source of income. Just before the war, we invested heavily in purchasing items for our store, but we lost everything because of the war. My family and I now face a dark world full of hardship, hunger and disease
