<div>Early morning of March 10th, Gregory, her long-time boyfriend, was changing a tire on the shoulder of Interstate 495 near Fairfax, Va., when a truck hit him and the car. Gregory passed away on the scene. Hailey, who was sleeping in the car, broke her neck and fractured her back in multiple places, and was rushed to the hospital.

<div>Hailey is grieving the loss of her forever person. A loss I can't fathom, as I imagine many of us can't come close to understanding the heartbreak this brings her.

<div>It goes without saying, but she will be out of work, and it's unclear when she'll be able to go back. She has bills to pay including extremely expensive hospital bills (no health insurance), personal injury attorney fees, and living expenses. Hailey graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in December of 2023. Before the accident, she was working full-time and is in the Army reserves.
