Help Guy & Germaine find a place to live & knock cancer!

Hi, my name is Deneige Baird.

For the last 16 years, my parents, Guy & Germaine Duplin, have been renting my house at 6 Williams St. Bruce Mines, Ontario at a lower rent to help them out financially. Because of a marriage breakup, I have had to put the house on the market to sell. Unfortunately, neither my parents, my brothers or I are in a financial position to buy the house so they can stay in it. We are praying that whoever purchases the house will let them continue to rent it for a reasonable price, but they're is no guarantee, so they might have to find a new place to live. Although they would love to remain in the same area, housing is limited and expensive every where.

On top of that, my mother has just found out that she has lung cancer, bone cancer in the 6th vertebrae and possibly bone cancer in the right pelvic area. She is currently in the hospital and my father drives to be with her daily. Once released, my mother will be requiring frequent travels to Sault Ste Marie for cancer treatments, which are not covered by travel grants. As well, we are unsure at this time if the cancer treatments are covered under any government programs.

I am asking for your help in raising money to help them with the cost of moving and increase in rent, as well as to cover the cost for my parents to travel back and forth for cancer treatments and the cancer treatments themselves. Anything you donate, will be greatly appreciated.
