Help Gunner Kick Leukemia

Gunner Lindsey was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on August 5, 2015 at the age of 9. Finding out your child has leukemia is a nightmare for any set of parents, but it is a much heavier load to carry emotionally and financially when you are a single parent. Tami Lindsey is a single mother of 6 boys. Gunner was originally diagnosed with leukemia on the 5 year anniversary of his father’s death. Gunner was in remission for two years and approaching the end of his treatment.
Tami and Gunner were relieved at the thought of getting back into a normal routine of everyday life. Tami had slowly began to build up her personal training clientele in anticipation of the end of Gunner’s treatment.
Unfortunately, Leukemia can be persistent. On October 17th, Tami received news that she desperately hoped and prayed to never hear again. Gunner’s leukemia had returned. It will be back to square one. Extended hospital stays, long trips from Alabama where the family now resides, intense chemo and radiation, and isolation from normal everyday activities. We want to rally together to help take the financial burden off of Tami to get Gunner the care he needs.
