Help Guide Jose Enrique reinvent himself

My name is José Enrique Conchacalle Abal and I've been working in Amazonas Explorer since 2015 as tour guide. You may remember me as "Kike"
I have worked in tourism since I finished university, but, because of Covid19, my work as a guide has been severely affected and no one knows when I may be able to work as a guide again.
So I'm looking for help to reinvent myself as a landlord to help support not only me but my elderly parents with whom I live.
In December 2020 I started a project to built an apartment in order to rent it out and I am looking for funds to help me finish it and get it ready to generate some income.
If I can raise $2000, I will be able to finish my project and start to rent it out.
In summary, this is my current situation, I would like at least to finish my project to have financial support to help pay off my bank loans and to support my parents until I can work again as a guide.

How it works:
I, Paul Cripps, owner of Amazonas Explorer have agreed to help set up these Gofundme crowdfunding pages for my guides who are struggling to make ends meet whilst the tourism industry implodes in Peru. We hope it will be back one day soon, but for now, they need to reinvent themselves in order to feed their families.
The funds will be collected here in the UK into my account and then I will pay the exact equivalent in Peruvian soles from my Peruvian account into their personal accounts to minimise bank transfer fees and exchange rate fluctuations.
I will also personally contribute the first $150 of each proposal to help them get started. This will be donated directly into their accounts to avoid charges.
Our guides provide a big part of the magic of any trip to Peru and it is their personal touches, professionalism, wit and charm that makes each trip they guide unforgettable.
So, if you enjoyed your trip to Peru with one of our guides, please give what you can.
I know times are difficult everywhere but these guides are true heroes, their projects are borne out a desire to survive this pandemic and come out the other side better for the experience.
