Help Grace's wishes & dreams come true, to keep independance

My name is Grace & I need help in rebuilding my life to keep my independence & to live safely in my own home. I'm sorry if I'm not explaining myself right, I have a neurological brain condition & sometimes don't say word things right. I'm doing this all on my own, No family or anyone to support me with any of this. Due to 5 offenders I have now been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder known as FND & its forever changed my life. People have huge dreams & goals, my dream/goal is to create the home of my dreams to keep my independence & to live safely at home for as long as I can.

What is Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)?

FND is where the signals shut down communication with the body. Symptoms differ for everyone. Most people with FND can loose full function of their upper and/or lower body, & end up in a wheelchair. For me, I suffer severe fatigue, fatigue seizures. short term memory loss, confusion, dizziness, headaches. balance/mobility issues, I loose the ability to talk, to see, to physically open my eyes. function of my legs & the list goes on. I use a walker most of the time, have a shower chair now & I can't medically work.

My whole life has been turned upside down. I'm fighting hard to keep my independence & to live safely in my home. At the moment I hardly have any possessions. I'm sleeping on the lounge 24/7 as I need to be level re my balance, no washing machine or dryer, no dining table or chairs etc.

I have been selling everything I own & love to get things I now need. I'm very slowly achieving it but I really need some extra help please. I'm on the high priority to transfer through housing because of now having FND (could be moving anytime) & I need to be able to create a safe home. I don't have the opportunity to enjoy things anymore as my whole life has been about surviving & now having FND the survival journey continues

What will the $ towards fundraiser go towards?

By donating you will be helping me live safely in my home & keeping my independence. The following is listed below:

A soft bed frame with bedhead thats boxed in. With my coordination,balance & vision I at times bump my head & end up in hospital with concussions. Having the bed frame boxed in will also be easier with my balance & back issues, so I don't have to reposition it back on the base. Will cost around $2,000

Certain types of dining chairs that are curved with sides re my balance/back issues, that were recommended by my osteopath. The chairs alone are between $200/$300 each & I'll need 4-6 for meetings with support service, support sessions etc.

Certain lounges that are more supportive for my back as recommended by my osteopath. Due to having back & balance issues the lounges need to be more cushiony to support my back & easy to get out of. I found a suitable lounge that matches my needs & its around $2,000.

A washing machine & dryer (front loaders with bigger drums) to wash & dry clothes. I can't hang my clothes on the line anymore & everything now is all about my safety. It will be amazing to be able to wash clothes in my own home again. Will be around $2,000

If there was any extra $ I would put it towards a much needed tooth procedure valued over $3,500 (tooth removal plus multiple fillings). I need to be in hospital under full anaesthetic, due to my neurological brain condition for my medical safety. I have had a reoccurring infection for over a year now. Other things would be things I enjoy & love, like new tv, dvd player, puzzles etc etc.
