Help Grace fight rare liver cancer

Hi my name is Louise and on Tuesday 26th October 2021, the doctors gave me and my family the news no parents ever want to hear. Our beautiful little girl Grace was diagnosed with a very rare liver cancer called a hepatoblastoma. She is only 23 months old and is going to have a very hard journey ahead of her. She will face rounds of chemotherapy, surgery to remove tumor and then more rounds of chemotherapy. 

 

The tumor is in the right side of her liver, section 8 and spreading into sections 5, 6 and 7.

 

Hepatoblastoma are very rare and the odds of a child getting this type of liver tumor is fewer than one in a million. This makes Grace very special.

We want to make things easier for Grace as she doesn't really know what's happening. We are planning for when she is better to spend the donations raised on a 'big girl' bedroom makeover, a trip to the zoo and a family holiday to the beach.
