Help Goose Get the Eye Care She Needs
Donation protected
This is my kitten, Goose! She was adopted in June with what her shelter said was an eye deformity. I adopted her after being told by many people that this deformity was simply scar tissue, and would require zero further care. This “deformity” has since caused vision loss as well as swelling in her eye. This is a rare condition that our vet has never seen before, but is trying to understand. What our vet does know, is that this condition is not just scarring, and she will need continuing care from an eye specialist.
This ongoing care may simply mean medicine and monitoring, but there is also a real possibility of eye loss the longer she goes without medical attention. All of which would be extremely expensive procedures, and very difficult to pay for as a college student.
I don’t want the financial expenses to be the reason that this baby doesn’t receive the care she deserves, but it is going to be very difficult for me.
She is the best kitten and everyone that meets her falls in love.
