<div>O Gonçalo era um jovem vibrante de 16 anos, cheio de ritmo e de vida, especialmente quando estava atrás da tambores. A música era o seu modo de expressar emoções que as palavras não conseguiam traduzir. Mas a vida mudou drasticamente quando ele passou por um episódio psicótico que o levou a abandonar a escola e, pouco a pouco, a isolar-se do mundo.

<div>Desde então, enfrentou várias crises de saúde mental, seguidas de medicação psiquiátrica cada vez mais forte que, embora necessária em certos momentos, também apagou parte da sua essência e vitalidade.

<div>Atualmente, encontra-se sob um tratamento pesado prescrito pelo Estado, que inclui:

</div>
<div>• Clozapina (500 mg/dia)

<div>• Fluoxetina (20 mg/dia)
</div>
<div>• Victan (consoante necessário)

<div>Embora este tratamento lhe permita manter alguma estabilidade, não lhe devolveu a alegria, a motivação ou a independência. O sistema público em Portugal oferece opções muito limitadas, e os cuidados holísticos privados estão muito além do que conseguimos suportar.

<div>Ele recebe 300€/mês do Estado, o que mal cobre as suas necessidades básicas.

<div>Mas há uma faísca de esperança. Após anos de pesquisa, encontrámos um coach especializado em Portugal que ajuda pessoas como o Gonçalo a trabalhar — em conjunto com profissionais de saúde — no sentido de reduzir a medicação de forma segura e reconstruir a sua vida. Não é uma solução rápida. É um processo de reconexão, empoderamento e cura. E acreditamos nisso.

<div><strong>Gonçalo was a vibrant 16 year old, </strong>full of rhythm and life, especially when behind his drums. Music was his language, and art was his way to express emotions words couldn’t capture. But life changed drastically when he experienced a psychotic episode that led him to leave school and slowly isolate himself from the world.

<div>Since then, he has faced<strong> Several mental health crises</strong>, followed by increasingly strong psychiatric medications, which, while necessary in some moments, have also dulled his essence and vitality.

<div>He is currently under a heavy state-prescribed treatment, including:

This is not a quick fix. It’s a process of re-connection, empowerment, and healing. And we believe in it.
