Hello Friends, reaching out for your help on behalf of a truly remarkable individual—Shane Crandall.

Shane is a devoted single dad, helping raise  his daughter while being the primary caregiver for his elderly mother. For years, he has selflessly contributed to our community, volunteering with the Glen Allen Athletic Board and supporting local youth sports programs. He gives so much of himself to others, never asking for anything in return.

Unfortunately, Shane now finds himself in a dire situation. After undergoing a heart transplant, he fought hard to return to work, but health complications have since prevented him from doing so. As of September 1st, Shane lost his health care coverage and can no longer afford his vital transplant medications. On top of this, he is facing the imminent threat of losing his home due to financial struggles.

This is our opportunity as a community to rally around someone who has always been there for us. Your generous donations will go directly towards covering essential living expenses, medical bills, and the costs associated with his transplant medications—ensuring that Shane and his family can stay in their home during this incredibly challenging time.

Please consider making a donation. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign would mean the world to us as well. Every dollar counts, and your support can make a profound difference in Shane’s life, allowing him to focus on healing and caring for his family.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Together, we can ensure that Shane continues to be the strong pillar his family and community depend on.

With gratitude,
Crandall Friends and Family
