Help Gizmo’s Hospital Bill

This past weekend (1/9,1/10) our precious fur baby, Gizmo Gollum, became frighteningly ill. We made an appointment to see the Veterinarian that coming Monday as our concerns grew. Come Sunday we new we had to take more immediate action, so we took him to a Vet that was open on the weekends. There, they took a urinalysis and blood work to see what the problem was. Unfortunately their X-ray machine was down, so we could not visually see what was causing the problem. That Monday we decided to call our original vet to get them to give him an X-ray because we received a call that the blood work did not look good. Once we could see what was happening, we saw that he had enlarged kidneys, stones in his bladder, and blockage in his urethra. Terrified, we immediately had him unblocked and hookup up to a catheter and IV to try and correct the problem. After spending 3 days, things were not looking better and we were directed to a specialist for more intensive care.

The money raised will go to his medical bills at this hospital covering the treatment which includes IV, catheter, lodging in the hospital, and possible surgery. We were told it could be upwards of $5000 for the treatment. 

Gizmo is the first Sphynx cat my girlfriend and I got together and he means the world to us. He is part of our family and we are trying our best to get him the care he needs. We would be overjoyed with anything you can spare to help us give him the help he needs.
