The nightmare of waking up without a loved one became a tragic reality for the Semmel family on the morning of August 4th.
April Semmel passed away suddenly, leaving behind a husband and four children -- a fifteen year old son and thirteen year old triplets.
With no local family, the wonderful community of Robbinsville opened their hearts to support them in any way necessary; however, after assessing the situation, a few community leaders realized that the situation was far more serious than had been imagined.
There are so many layers to this tragedy -- now, as the family tries to get their lives back together and heal emotionally, they face financial hardship with the risk of losing their home and being forced to leave the community that has been so warm and loving to them.
The Semmels chance to stay in their home and their community is up to each one of us!
Together we can help them move forward from this tragedy with the second chance that Joel Semmel and his four children so desperately need and deserve. With your support, we can give this family the opportunity to get their footing and regain some stability.
