Help give the Barrera Amaya family a chance

Hi everyone and thank you so much for clicking to read this story.
Erik, Laura, Bertha Aimee (9y/o), Erika Giovanna (5y/o), Milan Vinicio (2 y/o), and a baby on the way are friends of mine and a loving Honduran family who escaped their country to seek asylum in Costa Rica after Laura's life was directly threatened during rampant femicide in their city.
After leaving everything behind they have been working painfully hard to provide a new future for their family in Costa Rica for 3 years. Unfortunately, the path for official refugee status (finally granted these past months), a steady income, shelter, and food, have all been far from easy, only made worse by bureaucracy, exploitation of immigrants, and COVID-19. Right now, they have next to nothing.
The Barrera Amaya family needs to get back on their feet and with deep humility and prioritization of their family, they asked for help. Our help.
I would be beyond appreciative to anyone who can give anything to help my friends. With this money, the following can be possible:
-Food (I have seen the pantry myself and it contains nothing but rice, beans, and coffee)
-Shelter (for a one room, unfurnished home they pay $300/month)
-A computer (so the girls can attend school while it is online and he can work)
-Laura can enroll in university (she got a scholarship for special education!! but there's a $100 enrollment fee every 4 months)
-A deposit on a rented car to be able to drive for a rideshare or food delivery service (Erik made his living as a driver in Honduras)
-A bed (the family currently all sleeps on a single air mattress or on the floor)
Please help in any way you can!! I cannot stress how beautiful this family is and how hardworking they are to provide a future for their children. They have truly nothing and they are already talking about being able to volunteer and help others like they used to in Honduras. Let's give what we can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
