Hello, my name is Dean Dellinger and I am asking for help in trying to purchase a vehicle for myself. Back in June of this year I was in a car accident that destroyed my vehicle rolled my car four times and luckily I was able to walk away with my life. During this time, I lost my job, I was unconscious from June 8th until I woke on the 17th unaware of what had happened to me and would it happen with everything else outside in my life. During this time I lost my pet rabbit I've had since he was just a little baby so I had a lot of things happened to me all at once. Two weeks later I was able to find a job at another nursing facility here in town and luckily I was able to begin working again. The bad part was I live 30 mi from where I work. For a few weeks I struggled to take Uber's and lifts to get to work and relied on family members to get me there. Well after that my mother came up with an idea that my stepfather would be able to take me to work and bring me home everyday. However this came as a great cost. I figured that it would be pretty decent as us being family it wouldn't cost as much to get to and from work and the thing is that was not the case. At the time I didn't think anything of it because I was so happy to have a ride to work and be able to work again. That I didn't think about what he was charging me at that point in time. So during this time I'm paying what I can and trying to make sure that I kept that up to speed while also struggling to pay all my utilities all of my bills and try to take care of myself at the same time. I have many health issues and They cost quite a bit throughout the year and it wasn't until I wasn't able to afford it that I started questioning how much I was being charged for rides To and from work. Now now I started paying attention to how much is being charged per day and per week. For a week I was being charged $200.00 which any smart mathematician would realize that was $800.00 a month. Now who on earth on a very very cute $17 an hour job can afford $800 a month on rides plus pay $300 electric bills $170 water bills groceries etc etc. So now here I am asking for help because I can't save the money on my own. I need help to save at least a thousand to get a decent vehicle to get me to and from work and be able to survive and pay what I need to pay for. Because as of right now I take care of my brother and I whom my brother does not help me in any way and it takes a lot out of me to go to work everyday and try to manage everything by myself. I'm not one that's very proud to ask for money I'm a very independent soul and I wish that I didn't have to ask for this but it must be done and if I do not accomplish this soon I will lose everything My job, my home and basically my life. Many say that he is taking advantage of me by charging me as much as he is considering that his family and I would say that I agree So if you find it in your heart to help donate anything to my cause I am begging please help me get myself back together again.
