Help give Rain Katz the memorial she deserves
Donation protected
Rain Katz was in an accident this past Sunday in Florida that took her life suddenly. Rain was a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a best friend, a superwoman. For many of us, she was a light in our darkest hour, our saving grace, our last hope.
She loved her children and grandchildren, Blake, Maddie, Timmy, Alex, Quincy, and Denver with her whole heart, with her whole soul. She would carry the world on her shoulders for them, over and over. She was the glue that held her family together, that held a lot of us together.
There wasn't a soul she wouldn't take in. She made sure you had a meal, a blanket, and a friend. If you didn't have a smile, she would give you hers.
She centered her life around people. Her generosity and compassion to those in need was inspiring. She was humble, brave, and kind.
We are absolutely devastated by Rain’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of final expenses.
Rain is being cremated and we need to bring her back home to New Orleans from Florida. We are also trying to plan for a service. Rain was very clear in her request of a Second Line for all her family and friends to celebrate her life. And for anyone that was blessed enough to know Rain, knows that she will be parading right alongside of us.
If you are able to do so, please help us give Rain the memorial she deserves. We are so very grateful for each and every donation.
When we get Rain back home and are able to raise the funds for her 2nd line and memorial, we will send out the date and time. We hope to have you celebrate her life with us.
Love,
Blake, Maddie and Timmy
