An update I never wanted to have to post. Nellie passed away on Wednesday. Nothing could have prepared us, and I feel that she was robbed of her experience in this world. All donations will be used towards existing medical bills. I am so sorry, Nellie.

Meet Nellie! A 14-year-old baby girl we adopted in January after 11 years in the shelter. She is so sweet and trusting despite facing one hardship after another.

We wish Nellie had a good and comfortable welcome home. Unfortunately, her poor health has made this an impossible reality.

Several vet visits in her first few weeks here, many medications, and only seemingly more to come.
