Hi, my name is Karrissa, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart, hoping the kindness of others can help me save my best friend - my dog, Hagrid.

Hagrid is my 2 year old Cane Corso Mastiff mix, and he truly is my world. He’s more than just a pet he’s my companion, my protector, my emotional support, and my daily source of joy. At just 2 years old, Hagrid is still a baby, full of life, love, and so much potential ahead of him.

Recently, something devastating happened. Hagrid took a bad fall, and after rushing him to the vet, I was told the heartbreaking news, he has a torn ligament in his leg. The only way to give him a real chance at recovery is through surgery. The estimate I received for the surgery is $5,000 and could be more. I am only trying to raise $5,000 - just enough to get him the surgery he needs so he can run, play, and live a full, pain-free life.

Without this surgery, the only other option I’ve been given is to put Hagrid down… and I can’t even bear to think about that. He’s so young and full of love, and it’s unthinkable that his life could be cut short over something treatable… simply because I can’t afford the cost on my own.

I've never been good at asking for help, but I know I can’t do this alone. If you’re able to donate anything, even just a few dollars - it will make a difference. Every little bit helps me get closer to giving Hagrid the chance he deserves.
